As reported in the Chicago Tribune, a local real estate developer is seeking neighborhood approval for a plan to build a "mixed use development with a hotel" across the street from Wrigely Field. As conceived, the hotel would be nine stories tall, so it would stand "virtually eye-to-eye" with the ballpark.

No further comment. It's too early in the morning for me to have fully worked up my outrage.
